About Mount Vernon High School
Mount Vernon High School is a comprehensive 9-12 high school serving the Mount Vernon community. We are home to the Bulldogs — a tradition of academic, athletic, and artistic excellence built by generations of students, families, and staff.
MVHS offers a broad academic program including AP, Running Start, dual-credit pathways, and Career & Technical Education (CTE), along with a full slate of athletics, performing arts, clubs, and student leadership opportunities. Our goal is for every Bulldog to graduate ready for college, career, and community.

Located in Mount Vernon, Washington, MVHS stands as the largest public high school in Skagit County with a vibrant student body nearing 2,000. Originally established as Union High School, we have a rich history and a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
